KCTL Annual Fundraiser and Art Auction 2024

The Jamboree 2024
To conclude each season, our players get to show off their skills in a singles tournament, with students from all sites facing off. Participants get a taste of the individual pressure faced by professionals at Grand Slams like Wimbledon and the US Open. The Jamboree provides a rare experience for our players to learn competition, camaraderie, and sportsmanship. It’s an incredible day where parents, players, coaches, and volunteers all come together to celebrate the season with food, music, and tennis!

Chase Return the Serve
Chase Return the Serve is an annual initiative organized in partnership with the USTA Foundation and JP Morgan Chase. This event is part of a broader effort to support National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) chapters across the United States, providing grants to enhance tennis and educational programs for youth in underserved communities.
The event will feature youth rotating through various on- and off-court activities designed to celebrate the mission of the KCTL and promote sportsmanship, social emotional learning, and love for the game.
This year, KCTL’s GoGirlGo! is hosting Return the Serve for all girls in the program.

Don't miss your chance to party with the best of the best in all things tennis!

Paint the Lines
Though artists often strive to color outside of them, painting the lines is essential in tennis. It is both an act of collective creation – drawing the boundaries of the court to make a surface playable – and individual achievement: a shot so precise in its placement that it becomes unreachable.
During the 2023 U.S. Open, we’re bringing tennis and art together to help make an impact on an extraordinary group of kids as they navigate life within, outside, and right on the lines.
Check out more info and bid on our Artsy page.

Davis Cup
Davis Cup is a doubles tournament that marks the first official day of competition among all clubs. Until this point in the season, our players learn tennis fundamentals and strategy to prepare for competition, without actually partaking in scored matchplay. To emulate the real Davis Cup, each club chooses a country to represent and research. Before the matches, we learn about and discuss the geography, history, and cultures of the different countries, which makes Davis Cup a wonderful educational opportunity for participants.

Family Day
Family Day is a wonderful opportunity for families to not only visit their child's site, but to also participate with our players and celebrate what they’ve accomplished. It provides the chance for our players’ parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins to experience KCTL firsthand and have fun with our volunteers and coaches.
