Upswing

UpSwing is an invite-only program for committed KCTL students who show a passion for tennis, desire to improve, and the potential to advance their game.

UpSwing students receive more specific and technical coaching, as well as more opportunities to challenge themselves on the court.

Summer registration will open on June 1.

The 2026 UpSwing season features tennis lessons during the Spring, Summer, and Fall at different KCTL locations: Marcy, De Hostos, and Lafayette Garden.

Young people residing in NYCHA housing have first preference for any available spots. Additional space for young people residing outside of NYCHA housing is determined by capacity at individual sites.
